Little Update

Just comin' round to say hi. Nothing much in the knitting knews except that I'm quietly working on RonBear. Yes Leah! I've finally gotten around to Ron! :D I kept procrastinating on this one because I wasn't sure how to go about making his Weasley sweater (or 'Jumper' , I should say, to be more Britishly correct...) Rather than try to make up a jumper pattern on my own and then try to retrofit it to the bear, I decided to just switch over to the jumper yarn when I got to that part of the bear. I'll try making a hem and cuffs separate and sew them on for extra 3D effect, oh, and I will have to get an "R" on there somehow. We'll see how it all works out.

I've been getting over a weird cold or something and have been quite tired. Did manage to make some lovely butterscotch pudding this morning.

How did it get to be the 22nd already? If I'm going to make anything for Project Spectrum this month, I'd better get started!

Geranium

One of my geraniums is getting ready to bloom. Isn't it sweet? Don't you just want to kiss it?

Knitting Knews I: Hermione Bear is DONE! Yay! I decided not to use the hat because it was too big and obscured her ears, so I'm going to knit up a book instead.

Knitting Knews II: I got my ribbon yarn on Saturday and it is incredible. Just INCREDIBLE.

I anticipate lots of fun with Project Spectrum this month. Green is my favorite color. Starting the month off with a big shiny leaf.
