The first fuzzy foot is done! It's about 12 inches from heel to toe, and 8 inches from cuff to heel, so I think it's plenty big enough to felt from that standpoint, I just don't know if there's going to be enough circumference, since my homemade dpn's are apparently smaller than size 10. We'll just have to see! I sure made a lot of mistakes on this ~ there were some dropped stitches and wonky ladders, so I'm glad it'll be felted. I went ahead and stitched up some of the weird bits with an extra piece of yarn. It'll all come out in the wash. :)
I change my mind hourly about what color I want to dye them. They'll either be red or green. Probably.
I'm thinking that I might make another pair of these, but I definitely want bigger needles. I'm planning to make myself another set of dpn's out of larger dowels. Back to the hardware store! (And I really need to spring for a needle guage.)
